Israeli UAS manufacturers offer Turnkey projects

The reality in the very competitive UAS market dictates changes.

Israeli manufacturers to offer potential clients “Turn Key” projects that include a lot more than the aerial platforms.

In the last two years the Israeli companies are facing growing competition especially in the mini and medium size categories.

This is a result of new manufacturers that entered the market and have in many cases have lowered the price.

Israeli sources say that the problem became even more complicated as, from time to time, for “political ” reasons, the Israeli Ministry of Defense freezes negotiations to sell UAS to certain countries. The most recent example , is a total embargo on sale of Israeli military systems including UAS to the Ukraine.

This situation prompted a new business approach based on offering the potential client much more than just UAS.

The packages include the UAS , the ground station, command and control systems, Aerostat carried payloads , communications systems and in some cases even weapon systems that can work in conjunction with the UAS’ payloads.

Industry sources say that the turn key projects are much more profitable..

Aeronautics, one of Israel’s UAS companies, is already negotiating such turn key projects with at least two potential customers.

Other Israeli UAS manufacturers are also offering such deals based on their systems with the addition of other types of equipment.
