A successful test  of the ” David’s Sling ” interception system

The success of the experiment is a significant milestone towards the final test and the declaration of operational capability.

This system, which will be a part of a multi-layered defense against rockets and missiles.

During the last test the target missile was detected by the  MMR radar, which transferred the data to the fire management system.

The intercepting missile hit the target , simulating an enemy long range rocket and destroyed it.

The success of the test is an important milestone in achieving an operational capability to protect Israel from many types of rockets and missiles.
