Here’s another proof that simply wearing a uniform complete with a high rank, does not guarantee what you have to say makes any sense or is well founded. A high ranking IDF officer told reporters that in the case of possible renewed fighting with Hezbollah, Ben Gurion International Airport and the seaport at Haifa will be closed from day one.

The high ranking officer went on to say that in the next round, it would be inadvisable to attack state-targets in Southern Lebanon, as the IDF did back in 2006. “Historically, this has not been proven useful, nor will it cause the Hezbollah to declare they surrender since the power stations were bombed,” he said. That is actually true: one IDF airstrike on one power station would not matter to Hezbollah, but, if the IDF were to paralyze Lebanon’s entire power supply, that would be a whole different ballgame. No power means no water, not just electricity. The entire infrastructure must be destroyed one hour after the first rocket will have been launched against Israel. In the Middle East, they only understand power, lots of power.

In case this senior officer merely spoke his mind, this is a minor issue. Nevertheless, had he voiced the opinion of the entire IDF staff, this is an entire matter altogether.

The IDF did not fathom the extent of the tunnels in Gaza. It seems like there is another problem with the intelligence concerning Lebanon, if this is the way they imagine the next conflict in Israel’s Northern Border.

The formula must be as follows: one Hezbollah rocket, and the whole of Lebanon is left without any electricity. Suddenly, it would turn out they know how to fashion white flags from any old sheet.

Israel HLS

The terrorist who shot Yehuda Glick had served time in prison for many years due to his involvement in terrorism. This has not stopped him from working at a restaurant at the Begin Center. Ahead of each and every event a high ranking figure is due to attend, the GSS thoroughly checks all the known attendants, even IDF veterans. The terrorist worked at a restaurant frequented by Israeli officials such as the President, the Prime Ministers and others. So how the h*** could he have worked there, and how could it be that came over there armed on the night of his assassination attempt?

The GSS reaction that at no point was the terrorist anywhere near the sequestered area, is absurd. Someone made a huge blunder. It seems no one in Israel ever learns, they keep repeating the same mistakes.

How obtuse can politicians be? Sweden already has towns where Mohamed is already the most common name.

Over the weekend, the Swedish government formally recognized the Palestinian Authority as a state. In her statement, Swedish Foreign Secretary Margot Wallström said this recognition is an important step as it acknowledges the right of Palestinians for self-determination. The foreign ministry in Stockholm underscored in its announcement that the Swedish government’s decision had been taken after it became clear that Palestine had met the criteria for recognition per international law. How interesting. A terrorist organization qualifies for statehood.

They are being either thickheaded or naïve. Now, more Palestinians will flock to Sweden, where they will have more mosques, and more marriages between Swedish women and Muslims. Naivety bordering on stupidity. They will get what’s coming to them.

Now that there is a love story between Sweden and a virtual Palestinian state, have at it, Sweden. Pick up some Arabic.
