Egozi’s Fury – Jerusalem and terror

A clash between Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and Internal Security Minister Yithzhak Aharonovitch concerning the attempts to quell the violence in East Jerusalem. In a letter Barkat sent Prime Minister Binyamnin Netanyahu over the weekend, he severely attacked the Ministry of Internal Security’s mishandling of the situation.

“The minister and the ministry he is in charge of are not deliver any solutions given the immense challenge, and are not taking any steps to provide security and return peace and quiet to Jerusalem,” wrote Barkat. “The police command and the people of Jerusalem are left helpless,” he added. Barkat says in his letter, that in order to bring peace back, special, dedicated police forces must be stepped up to handle the unrest and the disturbances of the peace – in addition to permanent presence of special forces, including the establishment of police stations in the most volatile locations and harsher sentences to stone throwers.

It is high time to deal with the urban Intifada (uprising) in Jerusalem using a stern approach, special police forces, rubber bullets and dogs. If need be, even tougher measures are called for. Anyone who throws Molotov Cocktails and stones, must realize he is putting someone else’s life in danger – so his own life is also on the line.

The recent developments at Israel’s top police command are very grave. An authority in charge of solving crimes and internal security has been rocked, for months now, over corruption scandals and sexual misconduct.

Israel Homeland Security

Israel’s police is going through something which is very serious. Leaving this to the minister and the police chief would be a grave error. This is important enough for the Prime Minister to step in. He must see to it that fundamental things change, and if need be – he ought to rid the police of an entire cadre of officers who seem to have forgotten they are the face of Israel’s law enforcement.

How do you expect police officers in the field to function as best they can, when their superiors are allegedly busy doing things that are hardly in line with what is expected of the police, or any other body, for that matter.

Many countries seem to be living on another planet. They do not realize that Islam is tantamount to terror. They must have missed the list of terrorist attack in the last decade, all perpetrated by Muslims.

Sweden is the latest victim of this epidemic of blindness. Sweden’s new center-left government intends to recognize Palestinian independence. This would make Sweden the first major European Union member country to recognize Palestinian statehood.

Some Swedish cities already have a Muslim majority. The floodgates are about to open wide. They will begin having Arabic taught, and Sharia, Islamic law, introduced. The process is irreversible. How blind can you be?

Europe has been taken over by Islam. Despite everything that is going on, a nation like Sweden decides to recognize Palestine. How naïve or stupid can you be. Perhaps it’s a mixture of both. The Swedes will soon realize their mistake. But it will be too late. It already is in many countries across Europe.
