NuclearBaghdad has informed the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that Iraqi terrorists have stolen 88 pounds of low-grade Uranium from Mosul University.

IAEA spokeswoman Gill Tudor said, “On the basis of the initial information we believe the material involved is low-grade and would not present a significant safety, security or nuclear proliferation risk.”

The billion dollar terrorist-run Islamic State of Syria and the Levant (ISIL) is clearly gathering a list of material ingredients to manufacture more exotic weapons; including the dirty bombs. Moreover, they need only to start with the depleted Uranium buried in the sands.

experts say that a dirty bomb can cause damage but mainly panic that will result in death.

dirty bomb is a speculative radiological weapon that combines radioactive material with conventional explosives. The purpose of the weapon is to contaminate the area around the dispersal agent/conventional explosion with radioactive material, serving primarily as an area denial device against civilians. It is however not to be confused with a nuclear explosion, such as a fission bomb, which by releasing nuclear energy produces blast effects far in excess of what is achievable by the use of conventional explosives.
