Cyber: Israeli Success in Mexico

Another success for an Israeli IT security firm in Mexico: Communications provider Telefonica Mexico chose the cybersecurity solutions of Israeli AlgoSec.

AlgoSec specializes in managing enterprise IT policies. The company recently announced that Telefonica Mexico chose to deploy AlgoSec’s cybersecurity solutions. The three-year contract between the two is estimated at $1 mil.

Telefonica provides communication services for more than 20 million clients. Its GSM network reaches about 83,000 population centers around Mexico. Recently the company has experienced significant growth, leading to a growing need for more efficient customer services. An cyber security solution was needed, one that allows for more efficient network services while minimizing the risk of human error. After considering a number of alternatives the Mexican communications provider chose the Israeli solution.
