What else needs to happen for them to realize it? They actually do realize, but they’re just puppets, without any real decision-making abilities, a caricature of leadership.

According to Yediot Aharonot residents of the Yitshar settlement were discussing the possibility of attacking the IDF soldiers stationed there to protect them – even going as far as to suggest killing them. Following this discussion police arrested a local 22 year-old woman on suspicions of incitement. According to the police statement she was arrested by officers from the nationalistic-crime unit, who found ideological materials that could be used for incitement while searching her place of residence.

According to the discussion logs, one participant said that “religious laws do not forbit killing soldiers who engage in night-time evacuation.” What else needs to happen for Jerusalem to realize that we’re facing a dangerous wave of Jewish terror? What else needs to happen for our leaders to stop jump at their own shadow? They have already proved themselves to be useless in a variety of other areas, but now our life and safety are on the line.

By now there should have been a clear decision on the issue – “price tag” attacks are terror, pure and simple. Our leaders, however, only do public appearances – not much else. “Red lines” are crossed every week, followed by the same tired rhetoric. They were elected to lead, even during emergencies, but they’ve failed us all.
