New: Silent, Hybrid Motorcycle

The future of two-wheeled vehicles: Invisible, stealth hybrid motorcycle for silent movement through enemy territory. Call it the “stealth motorcycle” from now on.

Logos Technologies, based in Fairfax, Virginia, won the recent DARPA research grant for the development of a stealth motorcycle, the first of its kind. The vehicle will allow small units of special operatives to cross long distances at high speeds, within enemy territory and while remaining undetected.

The vehicle will be developed on cooperation with BRD, the large motorcycle manufacturer from San Francisco, who will provide a silent, hybrid engine. Logos Technologies engineers said that the stealth motorcycle has extended range, is compact and ruggedized – ideal for U.S. Army forces operating in harsh environments.

Wade Pulliam, a Logos top executive, said: “These days there’s a growing demand for small military units operating in remote areas, which have to remain independent and undetected. Efficiency and mobility allows the stealth motorcycle to cross long distances quietly.”
