Israel will allow renewed deliveries of cement to Gaza, in response to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon’s request. This according to a Channel 2 report. The news stunned many of the viewers. Can a request by the U.N. Secretary-General change the facts? Is his request more important than Israel’s security?

Cement deliveries were stopped after it was discovered that a huge amount of cement, delivered with Israel’s consent, was in fact used to build sophisticated terror tunnels. So the Palestinians ran to the U.N., crying and begging, Ban Ki Moon turned to us, and we reacted like fans who just met their favorite celebrity.

It gets more and more apparent that this country is run by happenstance. A minister may decide to do one thing in the morning, change his mind by the evening and eventually do something else entirely, for no reason whatsoever. Nothing changed. Cement brought into the Gaza strip will be used to build advanced terror tunnels in the future, as well. The U.N. is supposed to oversee the use of cement, but we all know what this totally useless organization can and can’t do.

So we should expect that, because of the Hamas leadership’s posturing, Israel will soon allow the renewed development of terror tunnels, in addition to armored hideouts for rockets and other military facilities. This is exactly how a brainless, leaderless and totally shameless state conducts its affairs.

The entire farce involving Israeli leaders attending Nelson Mandela’s funeral revolves around the same exact issues. Prime Minister Netanyahu didn’t want to go, so his office started spreading rumors about the extremely high cost of the flight. President Shimon Peres was struck by a mysterious strain of the flu virus that only allows him to make public appearances in the Israeli climate.

Everything, exactly like the cement issue, is based on disinformation, lies and happenstance. In the case of Gaza Israelis will pay with their lives. In the case of South Africa Israel paid with its honor as a state.
