Lockheed Martin is honored to work with the NATO Communications and Information (NCI) Agency to ensure the new headquarters in Brussels reflects the Alliance’s mission and modern role in the 21st century,” said Angela Heise, vice president of Enterprise IT Solutions for Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions. ”As the leading provider of advanced information systems, security, and services we will work in partnership with the NCI Agency team to create a modern network where personnel can use their preferred method of communication easily, reliably and securely – no matter what network, application or device they choose to use.”

NATO’s new headquarters in Brussels will be the face and heart of NATO, setting an example of technological integration and collaboration for Member State users and Partner nations. To provide NATO’s new network infrastructure, Lockheed Martin’s team will leverage modern communications and information technologies to provide NATO staff and national delegations with innovative capabilities and support new 21st century ways of working. This includes developing an infrastructure to service over 4,500 users at the Alliance’s headquarters and support up to an additional 1,500 conference visitors. Among the items Lockheed Martin’s team will provide to NATO include four integrated security networks interoperable with other NATO nations; cross domain information assurance solutions for secure, seamless interconnectivity; a robust, modern, high availability data centre; and comprehensive unified communication and collaboration services.
