Due to the fact that the relevant Israeli ministries are not performing their duties Palestinians can murder Israelis.

For some reason Tomer Hazan, an Israeli soldier, went with a coworker from a restaurant in Bat Yam to the West Bank village where he was killed.

But what was it that enabled it to occur, is the fact the Palestinian worked in Israel without a permit, and he is one of thousands of Palestinians that cross the “pseudo” fence daily and go to work in Israel each day. The authorities know all about this but they do nothing to change the situation.

If the ministries, and mainly that of internal security, would have fulfilled their duties, this death would have been avoided. But the ministries are apparently good for nothing except supplying work for ministers and other “senior officials” who are not performing their duties.

An exchange of accusations will begin now between the Ministries of Defense, Internal Security and the Interior about who is in charge.

The fact, however, is very clear – they all failed. If they would have acted, the employers of illegal Palestinian workers would have been arrested, tried and forced to pay huge fines. Repeaters of the crime would be sent to jail. Alas, this does not occur because in Israel chaos is the key word.

iHLS – Israel Homeland Security

Tomer Hazan, 20, was discovered at the bottom of a well in the West Bank village of Sanriya hours after his family reported him missing late on Friday, triggering a major search operation by the army, police and Israel’s security service.

A Palestinian man, named Nadal Amar, 42, from Beit Amin, a nearby town, confessed to the crime and told police that he planned to trade the soldier’s body in order to win the release of his brother, Nur al-Adin Amar, a member of the Palestinian Fatah faction who has been jailed since 2003 for militant activity. Investigators arrested Amar along with another brother after their inquiries led them to Beit Amin.

The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) said that Amar had picked up the soldier in a taxi on Friday morning and that the pair had then been driven to Sha’arei Tikva, a Jewish settlement near Beit Amin.

It is not clear why Hazan agreed to accompany Amar. Going to a Palestinian village in the West Bank is against the army rules, but this does not diminish the responsibility of the government to prevent thousands of illegal Palestinians entering Israel every day to freely work in Israeli places. The potential damage that can be done is infinite, they can lure Israelis to their villages and murder them, poison the food in restaurants where many of them are employed as chefs, and a variety of other acts of sabotage. And even though this is all known to the relevant ministries, for some reason they are still not performing their duties.
