MicroFalcon LEUnmanned air systems (UAS) are becoming more popular in safe city programs and the Israeli manufacturers are adapting their systems.

Israeli UAS manufacturer has identified a big potential market for their products as part of “Safe City” concepts and programs.

Michael Armon , president of Innocon – A UAS manufacturer, said that the need for small, robust UAS with very efficient payloads has opened a big market to his company “the need for such UAS that can fly very low and for long hours , is in the focus of planners of safe city projects”. The Innocom Spider will be displayed at Israel’s unmanned vehicles salon event, AUS&R 2013, on November 26th at the YES Planet compound in Rison Lezion.

Using a very small and light payload on mini and micro UAS, making the offering to the Safe City projects very attractive and helps achieving operational effective.

Innocon has completed a series of successful test flights of the MicroCam payload on its Microfalcon UAS , a sensor weighing only 100 grams and manufactured in Israel.

The 6kg, MicroFalcon was designed for soldier level missions of over the hill observation. The micro UAS uses a Naviator Flight Computer which is responsible for all flight aspects including take off and landing.  Armon said that the Naviator frees operators to concentrate on payload tasks exclusively thereby optimizing mission success. Operating at an altitude of up to 15000 feet the micro UAS can stay airborne for 2 hours – day or night.
