6850244_sThe Israel Military Industries (IMI) academy for Advanced Security & Anti-Terror Training is in negotiations for establishing branches in some foreign countries.

According to Ami Maor , president and CEO of the academy the vast know how of the academy has generated a demand for local branches “it will be easier for the local security forces to train at home according g to our tactics and knowhow”

The Israel Military Industries Academy for Advanced Security & Anti-Terror Training, a subsidiary of IMI  is a company owned by the Israeli government. It began operations in 1999 and specializes in a wide range of training and projects in the fields of security, anti-terrorism, homeland security and other areas for the military and law enforcement community.

The Academy draws its strength from the accumulated knowledge of the Israeli security establishment. With its combat-proven experience, knowledge, and expertise, the Academy provides a wide range of high level security, counter-terror, and anti-crime-preparedness training courses for local and foreign government agencies, as well as for private enterprises. This site contains information related to some of the basic courses at the Academy. Most of the courses are programmed jointly with each customer, as the security threats and training needs vary amongst customers

The academy has a big well equipped facility for training and it is working in very close cooperation with IMI and other Israeli defense contractors

The academy is licensed by the Israeli police and other official security bodies and therefore the demand for its services is so big.

Established in 1933, IMI is an Israeli leading Defense systems house. IMI’s products have been qualified with the IDF, US Military (Air Force, Army and Navy) and NATO nations.
